About Transparent Areas

We detected transparent areas in your image. We've added a placeholder background color so you can see all the layers clearly, kind of like a green screen.

You can change this color below if you want. But don't worry, you will be able to delete this layer on the results screen! Just click the little X next to the layer after final processing and it will be gone for a much cleaner SVG. This helps preserve things like white borders on images.

CraftyGrafix Guide
1
Upload Your Image
Start by uploading a JPG, PNG, or other image format from your computer, pasting from clipboard, or entering a URL. Our free SVG converter works with logos, photos, artwork, and any image you want to convert to SVG for Cricut or laser cutting.
2
Choose Color Selection Method
Decide how to select colors: Manually pick colors from your image one by one, or use AI Detection to automatically detect primary colors in your image.

Note: AI Detection may only select one shade of a color. If you have multiple shades of one color that you would like as different layers, you will have to add the missing color on the bottom bar after AI Detection.
3
Add or Fine-Tune Colors
Click the + ADD button to pick colors from your image using the eyedropper. After clicking on + ADD, choose the color in the image to add it. Use the X to remove unwanted colors or pencil icon to replace them. Get the perfect palette before tracing.
4
Test the Trace
Click Test It to preview how your image will be traced with the current color settings. Each test is saved as a tab so you can compare different attempts and find the best result. If you do not like the test trace, modify the colors and try again.
5
Generate Your SVG
When you're happy with the test trace, click Trace Image to create your professional layered SVG. Download your free SVG file and use it in Cricut, Silhouette, Adobe Illustrator, or any SVG-compatible software. Perfect for cutting machines and laser engravers!
